Artelli, the pioneering multi-dimensional art space, presents “The Madness Never Ends”, the brand-new solo exhibition of contemporary artist, Chen Wei Zhu from 8 December 2023 - 19 January 2024. Featuring over 50 new original works, this exhibition is the first in Macau and largest solo exhibition of Zhu.

Zhu set a new record at Taipei Dangdai 2022 as the youngest exhibiting artist. Renowned for his unique creative style and keen insight into contemporary culture, his work features a cheerful palette, which has captured the attention of fashion enthusiasts and art collectors. Zhu makes art inflected by themes of pop culture, social media, and consumerism, moving boldly with vibrant colors and minimalistic outlines, so that each art piece is visually engaging yet chaotic and fun.

Working dexterously with the cultural vernacular of contemporary pop culture, Zhu’s work established a strong resonance with the audience. Ultimately, each of his creations becomes a protagonist of its own, cementing Zhu as a highly anticipated emerging talent in the art industry.

As a new-generation artist, Chen Wei Zhu advances the notion of pop culture through the integration of traditional fine art, digital media, and popular culture.

Zhu will make his first appearance at Artelli for a live art performance on December 14, followed by a meet-and-greet session with art collectors and enthusiasts on December 16. The events will be open for public reservations, and further details will be announced on Artelli's official platforms.
